Intercontinental Bora Bora have two resorts: one on Matira Beach on the south point of the main island and a second on the eastern motu. Both resorts have a gorgeous fine white sand beach, excellent sandy bottom swimming (all tide) and features some of the most picturesque overwater bungalows in Tahiti, sitting in a tantalizing turquoise lagoon undisturbed by motorized water sports.

Although close to the busy beach of Matira, the lagoon here is so shallow that boats are unable to pass through. All bungalows are similar in interior design with an open plan living room / bedroom (king size bed or twin). The bedroom can be separated by a sliding door to give more privacy. En-suite bathrooms include a separate bath and shower and all bungalows have an outdoor shower to wash down from the beach or sea.

All bungalows feature both air conditioning and ceiling fan, cable TV, DVD player, tea and coffee making, fridge, ID phone, hair dryer and personal safety box..

The main restaurant has both inside and outdoor dining beside the beach - there are three dinner shows per week featuring traditional Polynesian dance.
