Apartments Kakera Cook Islands offer split level fully self contained apartments ideal for families or couples looking for ultra modern living away from the hustle and bustle of tourist life. Located on a shingle beach on the quiet rural east coast of Rarotonga close to Turangi Village, Kakera is close to several convenience stores, excellent hikes, historical sites and a wild, windswept beachcombing coastline.

Room Information

Apartment Pepe, the deluxe apartment, is a split level, modern, spacious apartment.  The main ground floor entrance leads into a spacious and open plan lounge/ dining area. On one side are double french doors from the lounge and dining area drawing out to a private plunge pool, deck and tropical garden area.  Located on the other side of the lounge area is a galley style self-contained kitchen and a large fresh bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with gas cooker, refrigerator/ freezer, microwave and all the quality cutlery, crockery, glassware and cookware needed to experiment with new tropical cuisine. Located on the upper mezzanine floor is a king size bedroom offering views to the tropical mountains and valley's.
Apartment Ra, the standard family apartment is split level. The ground floor enters into an open plan lounge, bench bar dinning area and self contained kitchen with gas cooker, refrigerator/ freezer, microwave and all the quality cutlery, crockery, glassware and cookware needed to experiment with new tropical cuisine.. This area looks out over a private deck, court yard and deep plunge pool. A light fresh bathroom is also on the ground floor. Stairs and a short hallway lead to two spacious bedrooms, the master with views to the tropical mountains and valley's and the second with views to the Pacific Ocean. Both these rooms feature wardrobes and the master room a makeup desk.
Apartment Karanga is a deluxe modern split level family apartment. The open ground floor entrance foyer leads you into an open plan self contained kitchen with gas cooker and oven, refrigerator/ freezer, microwave and all the quality cutlery, crockery, glassware and cookware needed to experiment with new tropical cuisine. The dinning area can seat up to six guests and looks through the large lounge area and stacker doors to the tropical garden area. The garden area offers a shallow plunge pool, deck chair area and a BBQ for alfresco cooking. Spacious bathroom also located on the ground floor.  Upstairs in the foyer area to two bedrooms. Space is the only word that can explain the master bedroom which features: an en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, lounge and deck areas all with views to the Pacific ocean . The second room can provide for two singles or a couple, this fresh stylish room also has a walk-in wardrobe and views to the Pacific ocean.

Hotel Amenities

The beach is a short stroll away from the apartments which is a mix of coarse sand and pebbles fronting a rocky lagoon not practical for swimming or snorkelling. Muri with its protected sandy beach and excellent swimming lagoon is a five minute drive to the south.

Apartments offer split level living for optimum views, high ceilings provide a spacious and cool feeling, large fully contained kitchens and BBQ available allowing for informal holiday dinning, with light airy living areas with a divan couch for relaxing. Each apartment has a private outside area with plunge pool, sun deck and landscaped garden.
